Söğüt is a place where all the souls that have lived and will live, all the times and places that have overlapped, and all the feelings that have been felt are revived.

Söğüt was an important point on the route of armies in ancient times, a stop where pilgrims going to Mecca stayed, and became the homeland of the Turks with the arrival of the Kayı Tribe, and has never lost its place and meaning in history. Nowadays, it is observed that Söğüt continues to maintain its attraction value both by carrying these deep meanings and by its geographical and human richness.

 

The main aim of the proposed project is to advance the existing values inherent to Söğüt and make them visible and palpable. In terms of structural and landscape interventions, rather than didactic narratives, a heterotopia of the times that Söğüt witnessed is proposed.
